That's a wrap for our 2024 show...

A message from our club president,

"On behalf of the CHARMD Board of directors we would like to extend a massive THANK YOU to our amazing show committee for doing an exceptional job putting on our annual Canadian Horse Breed and Open Show!! What a spectacular two day event and Raegen Harper, Julie Hickie, Lisa Petruk and Nisa Lind did an incredible job putting a wonderful and diverse class list together as well as organizing the one million details that go into making an event like this come to fruition. Well done ladies and a heartfelt THANK YOU to you all!!

THANK YOU to all the competitors who came from far and near to participate in our show!

THANK YOU to our delightful judge Janice Gagnon for your help and insight.

THANK YOU also to the super human efforts of Anne Allison - our ring master who goes above and beyond each year providing us with ah-mazing swag bags - so appreciated by all! Anne brings an impeccable level of professionalism and class to the show ring as she seamlessly keeps the day running smoothly from class to class.

THANK YOU to our photographers Donna Blake and Brittany Martin - can’t wait to see what they captured this weekend!

THANK YOU also to all of the volunteers who helped out all weekend setting up courses and timing events - this is not possible without you!

And finally - this years show saw an unprecedented list of prizes for our competitors! We had a tremendous outpouring from all across Alberta as businesses and individuals provided these gifts to support our club!

A very special THANK YOU to all of our sponsors:

Advantage Training Stable, DDC Sand Gravel & Concrete, Julie Hickie, Angie Carleton, SunRise Canadians, Down to Earth Pottery, Cavallo, Big Sky DP Saddlery, Rose Fodor, Julia Wachowski, Mirkwood Acres, and Patty Carley.

And I must say that this CHARMD family is simply a great group of people. The atmosphere of this show was amazing! One of the most encouraging and fun shows one can imagine. Competitors all cheering one another on as they showcase the hard work they’ve put into their horsemanship journeys! It truly is a great community to be involved in. So if you haven’t been a part of this show yet - we would whole heartedly encourage you to join us next year!!

Cheers to all involved and to next year!!"
